Artist's Description
For non-art historians, Pierre Brassau was an 'artist' chimpanzee that in 1964 had his paintings exhibited as an up and coming French avant-garde modern artist. The hoax was perpetrated by Åke "Dacke" Axelsson, a journalist at the Swedish tabloid Göteborgs-Tidningen. Axelsson. Alas, he fooled the art critics with his abstract works! Here I show a style more suited to inner thoughts!
