Description
Pierrot is a male character in certain French pantomime, having a whitened face and wearing a loose, white, fancy costume. It can also refer to an actor, masquerader, or buffoon so made up.
The French Bulldog is often called a frog dog, dog with bat ears, and a clown (buffoon) in the cloak of a philosopher.
